What happens to your Repricing when Amazon decides to remove the Buy Box on a listing.
This guide will go through settings and strategies you can set up in Repricer.com when the Buy Box is suppressed on an ASIN.
Before you start
- You’ll need a Repricer.com account. To find out more about how to create one, click here.
- You'll need to have Amazon connected as a channel. To find out how to do this, click here.
01 What is a Suppressed Buy Box
A suppressed Buy Box means that Amazon has removed the Buy Box from a product listing. The suppressed Buy Box will not show a winner of the Buy Box, but instead will allow the shopper to select from a list of sellers.
With the new Suppressed Buy Box option, users can now choose how they would like the Repricer to behave in these scenarios.
02 If No One Owns Buy Box
To decide how you would like your products to reprice when there is no Buy Box available, go to the If No One Owns Buy Box option in the Advanced Options of the repricing rule.
You can now determine how you would like the Repricer to behave on your products assigned the repricing rule when there is currently no Buy Box available:
Normal: reprice up and down the repricing process will not change. This is the default setting for the repricing option.
Do not reprice the product will not be repriced, and will stay at the current price once the Buy Box has been suppressed.
Change my price to my minimum price will immediately change to the Minimum price defined by user.
Change my price to my maximum price will immediately change to Maximum price defined by user.
03 Finding Products where No One Owns Buy Box
To determine which products the Buy Box has currently been suppressed, go to the Products page and open the Products Slider. We have now added the ability to filter your products by No Buy Box Available. This brings the total number of Buy Box status filters to four:
You own the Buy Box
Buy Box is owned by Amazon
Buy Box is owned by a competitor
No Buy Box available
