Priority Lane is an exciting Repricer feature that automatically prioritizes your most important products and beats the backlog. In this article, we'll explore Priority Lane, how it works, and how you can use it to better your business.

How Repricing works in Repricer

Repricer is designed to adjust your product prices instantly and send these changes to Amazon, ensuring you stay competitive. Here’s a breakdown of how this process currently works:

  1. Instant Repricing: Repricer monitors your product prices continuously. When a price change is needed, it instantly updates the product price within Repricer.

  2. Sending Price Changes to Amazon: Repricer submits price changes to Amazon using Amazon’s feed system, with updates sent every two minutes. Keep in mind that Amazon imposes a limit of 30 updates per hour.

  3. Processing Times:

    • Ideal Conditions: Amazon typically processes price updates quickly, ensuring minimal delay.
    • Busy Periods or High Volume Changes: During peak times or if you’re adjusting a large volume of prices simultaneously, Amazon may take longer to process these changes.

Priority Lane: Faster Repricing for Your Key Products

While Repricer instantly adjusts your product prices, it can typically take 2-10 minutes for these changes to appear on Amazon due to processing times. Until now, this delay has been a common limitation for all repricing services.

Introducing Priority Lane: With this new Priority Lane feature, Repricer can immediately upload your product’s updated price without the usual 2-minute delay. Amazon then processes and displays the new price within 60 seconds, giving you a competitive edge.

Priority Lane focuses on your most important products, ensuring they are repriced and updated faster, while lower-priority items, such as slow-moving stock, follow the standard update schedule. We’ll cover how Priority Products are selected later in this guide.

Interacting with your Priority Products

Within Repricer you can easily review and see what products have been selected as Priority Products. On the Repricer Product Screen, you will see the new Priority Icon beside these important products.

You can also filter to Priority Products with the new Priority Products filter on the Product Screen.

Force Reprice Button

To give you the power to manually kick off an instant reprice whenever you choose to, we have implemented the new Force Reprice button into Repricer. When you use this button it will instantly reprice your product and also immediately upload the price change to Amazon. You can use this button to update any product, even non-priority products.

Priority Product Automation

If you would like to automate Priority Products to better fine-tune your rules for these products you can use the Repricing Status Automation Trigger, which includes the Priority Product trigger. You can automate products based on whether they are or are not Priority Products. Learn more about using Automations in this article.

Selecting Priority Products

Repricer's machine learning AI will automatically select your Priority Products for you and update which products are assigned each day. The main data points considered by the AI are,

  • Products that have recently sold (Best Selling products will always be Priority!)
  • Products which have recently been listed for the first time on Amazon
  • Products which have recently been restocked by you on Amazon
Note: Due to Amazon limitations your account can have a maximum of 1,000 Priority Products.
