Using Google Campaigns, you can serve enhanced ads with a high conversion that generally appear at the top of your search on Google.

This help file will get you started with Google Campaigns, where you can attract new customers to your store and increase your sales.

Before you start

  • You’ll need to have a Google account. To find out how to create one, click here.

  • You’ll need to have a Webstore (Magento, Prestashop, Woocommerce, Shopify, or Bigcommerce).

Note: If you’re having any trouble during your Google Campaigns setup, don’t hesitate to contact the Support Team for assistance.

01 Link your Webstore to Repricer.com

The first step to start using Google Campaigns will be to link your current Webstore to your Repricer.com account. These instructions tell you exactly what to do.

  1. Click on Google Campaigns at the top of your screen.

  2. If you already have your Webstore added into your account, select it via the Select your existing channel for a quick start option. If you don’t, simply add it through ... or connect a new store from the list below

Note: if you choose to connect a new Webstore from the list, simply follow all the instructions on-screen to get it setup. It’s really easy and you’ll be up and running in no time!

02 Select a Google account and authorize xSellco

Next, you need to confirm that your webstore contains all of Google’s requirements before proceeding to log into your Google account. If it does, select Next Step.
Now it’s time to link your Google account to xSellco (the company behind Repricer.com), simply select Allow Access.
This is a very important step that will allow xSellco to utilize Google’s API to pull in your products, Ad Campaigns, campaign budgets, product/sales stats, etc.

03 Create a Merchant Center account

After returning from Google, you’ll now be asked to either create a new Merchant Center account if there is not one already associated with the webstore. Simply select Accept Terms.Pro Tip: this screen explains all the requirements from Google to set up a Google Campaigns account. We highly recommend that you read them first.

If the webstore that you are trying to connect with the Google Campaigns module already is associated with an existing Merchant Center account, then you can choose to use that account.
Pro Tip: you will have an option to create a new Merchant Center account if there isn't any already associated with your webstore. If you select this option, the account will be created automatically, so you don’t have to worry about that.

04 Create a Google Adwords account

Next, you’ll be asked to create a new Google Ads account. Again, if an account has already been created with the associated Google account, then it can be used. If not, then you’ll be asked to create a new Google Ads account. Simply select Accept Terms.
You have now connected your Webstore, selected your Google account, authorized xSellco, created your Google Merchant Center and Google AdWords accounts. Well done!

These final steps vary depending on the webstore you wish to connect to:

  • Magento (version 1.0 and 2.0), Prestashop and Woocommerce

If you choose to use Google Campaigns with one of these Webstores, you will be able to easily install a plugin that will automatically configure your Conversion, AdWords, and Product Page tracking.

You can simply follow the instructions on-screen to get this plugin set up in your Repricer.com account.

  • Shopify and Bigcommerce

If you choose to use Google Campaigns with one of these Webstores, you will need to manually configure your Conversion, AdWords, and Product Page tracking.

You can find the instructions for Shopify here and the instructions for BigCommerce here.

Once the plugin or tags have been installed, then you can begin to create your first Google Smart Campaigns for your products.
